This Wearable Wednesday we will take a look at how we can leverage wearables for continuous data to enhance wellness and prevention, speed diagnosis, and enable more proactive and personalized therapy.

Daniel Kraft, MD

Beyond being a Stanford & Harvard trained physician scientist with a long list of publications, doing two talks at TedTalks, being an advisor at X-prize, inventing MarrowMiner, an FDA approved device for the minimally invasive harvest of bone marrow, serving as an F-16flight surgeon who conducted research on aerospace medicine that was published with NASA, with whom he was a finalist for astronaut selection, he is also the Faculty Chair for Medicine at Singularity University and founded and curates Exponential Medicine (Nov 9-12th), an annual program that explores the convergence of technology in the future of healthcare.

Shaun Rahimi

Shaun Rahimi has a decade of experience developing products for consumer and medical technology firms including Abbott Labs, Neuropace and Boston Scientific. He started Cur after he recovering from back pain using electrical stimulation, a technology used by doctors of top NFL/NBA teams to treat pain and swelling. CUR's first product is a smart band-aid that allows you to experience this form of relief in a simple and affordable way for the first time ever.

Noor Siddiqui

Noor Siddiqui is the Founder and CEO of Remedy, a digital health company based in San Francisco, California. Remedy's mission is to accelerate our progress toward a world with efficient access to medical expertise. Siddiqui has spoken about Remedy's mission to leaders in technology and health care at conferences like Milken Global, WebSummit, Kaiser Permanente's Executive Leadership Summit, DEMO, and TEDx. Her work has been featured in Forbes, TechCrunch, The Washington Post, and Business Insider. In 2012, Siddiqui was the youngest recipient of the Thiel Fellowship, a program spawned by PayPal founder-turned-venture capitalist Peter Thiel, which grants 20 entrepreneurs under 20, $100k to solve real-world problems.

Molly Maloof

Dr. Molly Maloof is a physician entrepreneur working at the intersection of medicine, technology and wellness. She is a medical advisor to a variety of Silicon Valley technology companies including 3Scan, Kareo, Anonos, and Thync. She is pioneering the use of digital health in her medical practice that is oriented around optimizing health and avoiding disease. She is an advocate of P4 medicine (Personalized, Preventive, Predictive & Participatory) and is the Digital Health Advisor to the Institute of Functional Medicine. Her life’s goal is to maximize human potential by dramatically extending human healthspan through medical technology, educational media and scientific wellness.

Monisha Perkash

Monisha is CEO & Co-founder at Lumo Bodytech which develops smart sensors and software to optimize the human potential. Lumo is a leader in understanding and interpreting biomechanics with proven success in providing real-time motion tracking, actionable feedback and personalized coaching. Their Lumo Lift posture and activity coach was named one of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2014. Lumo is backed by Madrona Ventures, Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors, and Jerry Yang’s AME Cloud Ventures. Monisha has an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Yale.

So, please bring your drivers license (or valid form of I.D.) to the main Main NASA-Ames entry gate (just off the 101, NASA/ Moffett Field exit) as it is required for entry.
